How to Enable/Disable ACPI during any OS Installation?
What is ACPI?
As per wikipedia: In computing, the Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) specification provides an open standard that the operating systems can use for computer hardware discovery, configuration, power management, and monitoring. Internally, ACPI exports the available functionalities by providing certain instruction lists as part of the system firmware, which the operating system kernel interprets and executes to perform desired operations, using a form of embedded virtual machine.
Info: The operating system couldn't be loaded because the firmware (BIOS) is not ACPI compatible.
To solve the ACPI compatibility issue, follow below mentioned step by step process.
Note: Computers manufactured in the last few years allow you to enter into the BIOS setup using one of the keys (F1, F2, F10 & DEL) during the boot process.
Restart your system and press F10 or "any other option as per your computer manufacturer" to enter into the BIOS mode.
Select "Power Management Setup" option in BIOS.
Now select ACPI function and change the option from Disable to Enable.
As soon as you enable the ACPI feature and restart your computer. You computer starts normally.
