How to Enable Compatibility Mode in Internet Explorer

There are so many websites that were designed for earlier versions of Internet Explorer might not display correctly in IE8, IE9, IE10, or IE11. When you turn on Compatibility View, the web-page you're viewing, as well as any other web-pages within the website's domain will be displayed properly in latest version of Internet Explorer.

In order for websites to work correctly in Internet Explorer 10 on Internet Explorer 11, IE must be set to compatibility mode. If the compatibility mode is not enabled, the website will not work properly.

This article will help you to add and remove websites from Compatibility View to display properly.

Step-1: Open Internet Explorer 11 and then press the Alt key to open menu option. On the Tools menu, click on Compatibility View settings.

Step-2: Now add the websites in Compatibility View settings. Here I have added to the list of websites to enable the compatibility view on it. In the Add this website box, type anywebsitename and click to Add button.

Now check the Use Microsoft compatibility lists and click on Close button.

By this way, you can add any website that is designed for earlier versions of Internet Explorer and not run on latest IE versions. You can run all the websites successfully after enabling Microsoft Compatibility View settings.
