How to Clear the Cache and Cookies in Google Chrome
When you visit any web page in Google Chrome browser, it stores web pages and images on your hard drive for faster access. If you visit the same pages again or pages that have the same components, it shows the result in just few seconds.
Why you need to Clear the Cache and Cookies?
Sometimes storing data on the hard drive can be a privacy issue, so people clear the cache and cookies every once in awhile to avoid misuse and damage of data.
How to Clear the Cache and Cookies?
Just follow the steps to clear the cache and cookies:
Step-1: Open Google Chrome browser.
Step-2: Go to "Menu" button in the upper-right corner of the Chrome Browser, choose "More Tools" > click on "Clear browsing data".
Press CTRL + Shift + Delete keys in Windows or Command + Shift + Delete keys on MacOS.
Go to "Menu" > "Settings" > "Show advanced settings"' > click on "Clear browsing data" under Privacy option.
You can use any of the above option to open Clear browsing data option.
Step-3: Now select the period of time you wish to delete cached and cookies information using the "Obliterate the following items from" drop down menu.
I have selected "the beginning of time" and checked "Cookies and other sites and plugin data" and "Cached images and files". Click on "Clear Browsing Data" to clear cache and cookies.
